The campus branch of the Redeem Christian Faith Church of God has been involved in an accident just on the bridge to Atonsu.
Two students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Sunday afternoon died in a gory accident after a bus on which they were travelling in skidded off the road and hit a tree in a nearby bush.
The students who are members of the Ahinsan branch of the Redeemed Christian Church of God were returning from a religious programme when the accident occurred.
A female student died on the spot while a male was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Over 11 injured people are currently receiving treatment in various hospitals in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.
Meanwhile, investigations have begun into the gruesome accident.Investigations revealed that most of the injured students are Nigerians studying at KNUST.
The Police is yet to identify the injured students and the two who lost their lives.
The family that lost anyone in this accident are in my thoughts and prayers.
